Trouble staying consistent on social media? You start strong with great ideas and content, then the business gets busy and social media gets pushed to the side.
In the 15 years we have been helping small businesses in Los Angeles, we have found that being successful on social media takes a team with a range of skill sets. You need a strategist, a project manager, and a content creator, which is usually outside the budget for most small businesses. That is where LA Social Karma comes in. We become your full-service social media team, without the cost of hiring in-house.
Our team builds a social media strategy that aligns with your business goals, then brings it to life. We research content ideas, build the shot list, shoot and edit, write the copy, and post it, all with 100% approval from your team before anything goes live.
Every month, we meet with your team to map out key dates and line up your in-house promotions with your social content. We also review the previous month's results to shape what comes next. For most clients, that adds up to 20 to 40 hours a month saved.
We offer a range of packages to fit your needs, whether you need an extra set of hands or a team to run it all. To find out if we are the right social media management partner for your small business, book a free 30-minute call below.
Social Media Management
Social Media Management Services
We manage your Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn from start to finish. Every package includes:
Social Media Plan: We set your business's overall goals for social media, then establish the hashtags, content themes, and a monthly content calendar that includes upcoming holidays and other relevant events.
Audit: We audit every platform in your plan. That covers feed aesthetics (reorganizing, pinning top posts, removing outdated or off-brand posts), profile information, website links and buttons, and making sure two-factor authentication is set up.
Engagement: We respond to comments, reviews, and location tags on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. On designated engagement days, we share user-generated content to your Stories and add new posts to Stories to drive more impressions.
Content Shoot: We meet to capture the images and videos for the following month's content.
Reporting: Monthly reporting on your social media performance, including follower growth, audience engagement, total impressions and reach, and your top three posts.
Add-ons (available on request, not part of every package)
Extended Engagement: Outreach beyond your own channels, like engaging with smaller influencers as needed and interacting with a custom list of businesses or people you provide.
Live Social Media Coverage: Real-time posting to your Stories during your event, plus a recap post a few days afterward.

The return really depends on your business and industry, how much content you are posting, and how much access you give our team, both to create content with your employees and to tell the story of your business. That said, here are the returns we see most often:
Time savings. You are no longer trying to manage social media in-house, which for most clients frees up 20 to 40 hours a month. We also handle your DMs and comments, so customer messages get answered without adding to your plate.
Consistency. Showing up regularly keeps you top of mind with current customers while reaching new ones.
Discoverability. Instagram and TikTok are two of the main ways businesses get discovered today. Content that tells a story puts you in front of new people, the way a billboard or magazine ad did in the past, for a lot less money.
Brand awareness and word of mouth. Social is one of the only places you can talk to your customers every day without wearing out your welcome. An active, polished presence also makes you look credible to anyone checking you out. And when they share your content, that is word of mouth times a thousand, because it goes out to all of their followers too.
Keep in mind that social media is a long game. Brand awareness usually takes three to six months to really show, and it grows the longer you stay consistent. It also makes the rest of your marketing work harder, since people who see both your social and your other marketing are far more likely to buy. Social warms them up first. It works hardest as part of a bigger picture: social gets you discovered, your email and website turn that interest into action, and your in-person and offline efforts seal the deal. When every channel points in the same direction, they all return more.

Every business is different, so each package is customized to fit your needs and goals. Packages start at $1,800 a month and go up from there, depending on how many platforms you are on, how much content you want, how many community engagement days you need, and how often we come on-site to capture content. We create a strategy and consistency. Social media isn’t about just getting content posted. It’s about aligning the content with your business goals.
Measuring! Each month we meet with you to discuss what content is working and give ideas for improvement. We share the trends in our work.
Brainstorming. You get a team of content marketers to brainstorm content ideas and promotions, all in service to your business objectives.
We never run out of ideas. When you rely on an in-house team member to handle your social media as their side hustle, often they come in strong but then fizzle as their day-to-day work gets in the way. Creating content for the first few months is easy, but to continue telling the brand's story month after month for years takes planning and commitment! Don’t allow your brand’s voice to be an afterthought.
The key to social media marketing is consistency. Our team ensures you have your post edited and written each month before the month begins, with no last-minute “oh my goodness, what are we going to post?”LA Social Karma takes care of that. We also make room for the one-off posting for events throughout the month. We keep the content flowing so there is no gap in your relationship with your customer.

Here is what the process looks like when you hire us to handle your social media:
We start with a plan. We dig into your business goals, then build your social media strategy: content themes, hashtags, and a monthly content calendar mapped around your key dates, holidays, and events.
We audit your platforms. We clean up and set up each one, feed look, profile info, links and buttons, and security, so everything is sharp and working.
We capture your content. We come on-site for a content shoot to gather the photos and video for the month ahead.
We create and send for approval. Our team writes the copy and builds the content, then sends it to you for review. Nothing goes live without your 100% approval.
We post and engage. Once approved, we schedule and post everything, then handle the comments, DMs, and reviews day to day.
We meet and report. Every month we review the results together, what worked, what didn't, and shape the next month's plan.
-
No, our contracts are month-to-month. Our goal is to build a long-term relationship through the success we create together.
That said, we recommend giving it at least six months. The first three months are about getting to know each other, and by month six we have found our groove and work like an extension of your team.
The only thing we ask is 30 days notice before you cancel. As a small business ourselves, that heads-up gives us time to plan.
-
Absolutely. Some of our favorite clients already have an in-house team and just need an extra set of hands each month, whether that is creating content, running a content day, or handling engagement. We work great as part of your team.
One thing to note: to make this work, we do require an ongoing monthly relationship, not just a one-time project.
-
Absolutely. If you already work with a photographer or videographer, we can work directly with them and provide the shot list we need to create your social media each month.
If you are thinking about capturing the content yourself, we would gently recommend against it. Doing it well, and consistently, is a bigger lift than most business owners expect, and it is usually the first thing to slip when things get busy.
-
Yes. We come on-site and cover your event in real time. We post a series of Stories as it happens, then deliver a recap reel three to five days afterward.
Live coverage is an add-on, and we offer it as part of an ongoing relationship rather than for one-time events. So it is something we layer in for clients we already work with.
-
That really depends on your business and the customers you are trying to reach. Being on every platform is usually a mistake. It is better to show up consistently on the two or three where your customers actually spend time than to spread yourself thin across all of them.
We look at who you are trying to reach, their age, their habits, and where they spend time online, then help you pick the platforms that fit your small business and your goals. For many local businesses that is some mix of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn, but we tailor it to you.
-
Yes, we offer paid social ads for local Los Angeles businesses. We usually run them as part of a package that also includes organic, since the two work best together. Your organic content builds trust and gives your ads something strong to point to, and the ads put that content in front of more of the right people.
-
We work with small, local businesses across Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Ventura area, everything from restaurants to design-build companies, dentists, spas, HVAC companies, and plumbers.
We work best with small businesses that have one or two marketing people, or none at all, and need a partner to actually execute the work each month. If that is you, we can help you stay consistent, get your message out month after month, and grow your business for the long term.
-
You do. Your social accounts are always yours, we simply manage them for you. And everything we capture and create, the photos, the videos, the posts, is yours to keep and use however you want.
